That's what we needed to do after the High in A-Mei's concert...And so I've arranged for us to head to the hot spring (again!) today!
But before that, it's off to Danshui (淡水）first for some old street shopping...
The long train ride to Danshui...Just Take Danshui line to Danshui station..from Taipei station, it'll take you about 30mins to reach Danshui station
Yes, the weather is very hot today...BK2 must be protected from the UV rays...
阿给老店 - try the signature Ah Gei in Danshui. Walk along the row of shops facing the sea, when you reach the end, you'll see this shop.
After the meal we decided to chill out and chose this Waterfront Restaurant..you have to continue walking (past Ah Gei shop) to reach this restaurant. It is also facing the sea.
We love free wifi !!
After chilling, it's time for shopping!!!

We spent the whole morning in Danshui before we head to Xin Beitou for hot spring.
I picked 水美温泉会馆 because I've been here before and it was really nice.
The hotsprings in Xin Beitou area are all hotel style and Sweetme is a nicer ones among the rest who stood near the train station. For the public bath, the cost is 500+NT per pax with unlimited time. For the private bath (max 2 people per room) it is 900NT for 2 hours.

We chose Shin Yeh restaurant as BK1 is in the mood for Taiwan local dishes. I have always wanted to try Shin Yeh in Singapore and so this came to mind!
We asked the hotel staff to help us check the location and she wrote it on a piece of paper and then we're off to the restaurant!
We are sort of lucky as reservation is normally needed. But because we arrived at 6pm (technically it's a bit too early for dinner) and I promised the waitress that we can finished by 7pm she led us in straightaway!

The Shin Yeh restaurant happened to be in Zhong Xiao area and we continue shopping again thereafter!! We went back to my favourite clothing stall (white rabbit) and start buying again!

Day 4 was the last day of Taipei trip for me with the BKs....We leave Taipei on Day 5 but separately.
They'll head back to Singapore while I continue part 2 of my holiday to Seoul. I had a good time with the BKs in this trip. The fun part was of course us dressing up in the hotel every morning, I bet you can see some 'strong' make up here...a result of fake eyelashe lessons taught in the hotel room...
We also came up with some costumes theme (if you noticed, if not, that means we failed!!! hahahaaaa) and every morning there'll be at least 5-10mins of "Am I dressed to the theme"- panic moments!
I also wanna thank my BKs for heading to the bookstore with me, even though chinese characters don't know them, they waited patiently for me while I browse and We even had fun in the bookstore cracking our own jokes!
Lastly, I love them for bringing back my stuffs, leaving me with an empty luggage to Seoul for my shopping!
Ladies, we shall do it again sometime!!!
